Terms Used In Texas Property Code 55.001
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
In this chapter:
(1) “Emergency medical services” has the meaning assigned by § 773.003, Health and Safety Code.
(2) “Emergency medical services provider” has the meaning assigned by § 773.003, Health and Safety Code.
(3) “Hospital” means a person or institution maintaining a facility that provides hospital services in this state.
(4) “Person” does not include a county, common, or independent school district.
