Terms Used In Texas Special District Local Laws Code 1006.054
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
To be eligible to be elected or appointed as a director, a person must:
(1) be a resident of the district; and
(2) own land in the district subject to taxation.
