41-6a-714. Freeway and controlled-access highways — Driving onto and from highways where permitted.
(1) | A person may not operate a vehicle onto or from any freeway or other controlled-access highway except at entrances and exits established by the highway authority having jurisdiction over the highway. |
(a) | designed primarily for through traffic; and |
(b) | to or from which owners or occupants of abutting lands and other persons have no legal right of access, except at points as determined by the highway authority having jurisdiction over the highway, street, or roadway. See Utah Code 41-6a-102 |
(2) | A violation of Subsection (1) is an infraction. |
