53E-5-204. Measuring schools.

In accordance with this part, the state board shall annually measure and report on each school, in accordance with the Every Student Succeeds Act, Public Law No. 114-95, based on the school’s performance level on the indicators described in Subsection (2). |
Terms Used In Utah Code 53E-5-204
- Public law: A public bill or joint resolution that has passed both chambers and been enacted into law. Public laws have general applicability nationwide.
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes a state, district, or territory of the United States. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
- State board: means the State Board of Education. See Utah Code 53E-1-102

The state board shall base a school’s reported performance described in Subsection (1) on the school’s performance on the indicators described in:

Section 53E-5-205, for an elementary school or a middle school; or |
