53F-6-414. Severability.

If any provision of this part or the application of any provision of this part to any person or circumstance is held invalid by a final decision of a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions of this part remain effective without the invalidated provision or application. |

- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
