53G-6-903. Severability.
(1) |
If any provision of this part or the application of any provision of this part to any person or circumstance is held invalid by a final decision of a court of competent jurisdiction, the remainder of this part shall be given effect without the invalidated provision or application. |
Terms Used In Utah Code 53G-6-903
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
- Person: means :Utah Code 68-3-12.5
- Remainder: An interest in property that takes effect in the future at a specified time or after the occurrence of some event, such as the death of a life tenant.
