Except as provided in ORS § 267.153, 810.439, 811.590, 811.615 or 811.617 or other law, an enforcement officer issuing a violation citation shall cause the summons to be delivered to the person cited and shall cause the complaint and abstract of court record to be delivered to the court. Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 153.054

  • Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
  • Person: includes individuals, corporations, associations, firms, partnerships, limited liability companies and joint stock companies. See Oregon Statutes 174.100
  • Summons: Another word for subpoena used by the criminal justice system.
  • Violation: means an offense described in ORS § 153. See Oregon Statutes 153.005
