A person may appeal a department decision denying or reducing an application for reimbursement of nonrecurring expenses pursuant to Title 41, Chapter 6, Article 6 and chapter 14, article 3.

Terms Used In Arizona Laws 8-166

  • Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
  • Application: means the completion of the department application form with documentation of the child's special needs and nonrecurring expenses related to the adoption. See Arizona Laws 8-161
  • Department: means the department of child safety. See Arizona Laws 8-201
  • Person: includes a corporation, company, partnership, firm, association or society, as well as a natural person. See Arizona Laws 1-215
