The department shall provide written documentation to providers of the need for repairs, renovations, or additions when requested for an application for a loan guarantee pursuant to subdivision (d) of § 10305.5 of the Welfare and Institutions Code whenever the repairs, renovations, or additions are required by the department in order for the licensee to maintain or obtain a license for more than six children.
