Terms Used In Iowa Code 536C.1

  • Credit card: means a card or device issued by a financial institution under an arrangement pursuant to which a card issuer gives a cardholder the privilege of purchasing or leasing property, or purchasing services, obtaining loans, or otherwise obtaining credit from at least one hundred persons not related to the card issuer. See Iowa Code 536C.2
 This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the “Lender Credit Card Act”.
