Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 72-6230

  • Basic hearing screening: means a hearing testing program conducted with a calibrated audiometer. See Kansas Statutes 72-6228
  • Board of education: means the board of education of any school district or the governing authority of any accredited nonpublic school. See Kansas Statutes 72-6228
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Kansas Statutes 77-201

The board of education providing basic hearing screening in accordance with the provisions of this act shall furnish such forms, records and other materials approved or prescribed by the state board of education as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this act and the act of which this section is amendatory.
