Terms Used In Missouri Laws 578.185

  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
  • person: may extend and be applied to bodies politic and corporate, and to partnerships and other unincorporated associations. See Missouri Laws 1.020

Injunction. — A court of competent jurisdiction may enjoin a person from a continuing violation of section 578.173 or 578.176.
