If, after an investigation under section 3119.9527 of the Revised Code, the child support enforcement agency determines that the child who is the subject of the redirection order or recommendation is not under the care of any individual, the agency shall do the following:

Terms Used In Ohio Code 3119.9535

  • Child: includes child by adoption. See Ohio Code 1.59
  • child support enforcement agency: means a child support enforcement agency designated under former section 2301. See Ohio Code 3119.01

(A) Terminate the existing redirection order or request the court to terminate the redirection order based on the recommendation, whichever is applicable;

(B) If the agency becomes aware of circumstances indicating that the child may be abused or neglected, make a report under section 2151.421 of the Revised Code.
