- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
For purposes of this chapter, a person named as a child’s mother or father in the child’s birth certificate is presumed to be the child’s parent.
