- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
A person is ineligible to serve as a member of the board of trustees of a school district if the person has been convicted of a felony or an offense under § 43.021, Penal Code.
