(a) The commissioner of higher education shall file with the comptroller and the state auditor on or before September 1 of each year a list of each public junior college in this state that has certified to the board under § 130.003 that the college is in compliance with the requirements of Subsection (b) of that section.
(b) Only a public junior college included on the list under Subsection (a) is eligible for and may receive money appropriated by the legislature to public junior colleges.
