(a) A person commits an offense if the person knowingly possesses or displays a credential or false credential that identifies the person as the holder of the credential and the person knows that:
(1) the credential is not issued to the person; or
(2) the person is not a license holder.
(b) An offense under this section is a Class C misdemeanor.
