Terms Used In Texas Special District Local Laws Code 1049.052
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
- Property: means real and personal property. See Texas Government Code 311.005
To qualify for election to the board, a person must:
(1) be at least 18 years of age;
(2) have been a district resident for at least two years; and
(3) be a qualified property tax paying voter of the district.
