- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
The board may contract with any lessee of the district’s hospitals or any other person to provide hospital care to needy district inhabitants for the payments and terms and under the conditions the board considers to be in the district’s best interests.
