Terms Used In Texas Special District Local Laws Code 1112.054
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
A person must at the time of election or appointment as director:
(1) be a resident of the district;
(2) own land subject to taxation in the district; and
(3) be at least 18 years of age.
