Terms Used In Texas Special District Local Laws Code 1113.054
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
A person may not be appointed or elected as a director unless the person is:
(1) a resident of the district; and
(2) at least 18 years of age at the time of the appointment or election.
