The state board shall:

- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes a state, district, or territory of the United States. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
- State board: means the State Board of Education. See Utah Code 53E-1-102

designate employees to act, with state board supervision, as an online terminal agency with the Department of Public Safety’s Criminal Investigations and Technical Services Division under Section 53-10-108; and |
| (b) |
provide relevant information concerning current or prospective employees or volunteers upon request to other school officials as provided in Section 53E-6-402. |

The cost of the online service shall be borne by the entity making the inquiry. |
