The submission of any claim for payment or reimbursement for services or benefits pursuant to Section 26-10B-7 or state; procedure for reimbursement” class=”unlinked-ref” datatype=”S” sessionyear=”2020″ statecd=”AL” title=”26″>26-10B-8 of this chapter or the making of any statement in connection therewith, which claim or statement the maker knows or should know to be false, misleading, or fraudulent shall be punishable as perjury.
