Terms Used In Texas Special District Local Laws Code 1009.055
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
- Property: means real and personal property. See Texas Government Code 311.005
To qualify for election to the board, a person must:
(1) be a resident of Cochran County; and
(2) own property in Cochran County subject to taxation.
