(a) The board shall meet at least once in each quarter of the calendar year.
(b) The board may meet at other times at the call of the presiding officer or as provided by the rules of the board.
Terms Used In Texas Education Code 21.038
- Presiding officer: A majority-party Senator who presides over the Senate and is charged with maintaining order and decorum, recognizing Members to speak, and interpreting the Senate's rules, practices and precedents.
- Year: means 12 consecutive months. See Texas Government Code 311.005
