Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
Court: means and includes: (1) a county court in the exercise of its probate jurisdiction; (2) a court created by statute and authorized to exercise original probate jurisdiction; and (3) a district court exercising original probate jurisdiction in a contested matter. See Texas Estates Code 22.007
Estate: means a decedent's property, as that property: (1) exists originally and as the property changes in form by sale, reinvestment, or otherwise; (2) is augmented by any accretions and other additions to the property, including any property to be distributed to the decedent's representative by the trustee of a trust that terminates on the decedent's death, and substitutions for the property; and (3) is diminished by any decreases in or distributions from the property. See Texas Estates Code 22.012
lien: include : (1) a deed of trust; (2) a vendor's lien, a mechanic's, materialman's, or laborer's lien, an attachment or garnishment lien, and a federal or state tax lien; (3) a chattel mortgage; (4) a judgment; and (5) a pledge by hypothecation. See Texas Estates Code 22.024
Mortgagee: The person to whom property is mortgaged and who has loaned the money.
Permittee: means a person who is the holder of a permit provided for in this code, or an agent, servant, or employee of that person. See Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code 1.04
Person: means a natural person or association of natural persons, trustee, receiver, partnership, corporation, organization, or the manager, agent, servant, or employee of any of them. See Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code 1.04
Personal property: All property that is not real property.
