- Allocation date: means :
(a) June 20 of the second calendar year after the local school board general election date described in Subsection 53G-3-302(3)(a)(i); or (b) another date that the transition teams under Section 53G-3-302 mutually agree to. See Utah Code 53G-3-102 - Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
- Canvass date: means the date of the canvass of an election under Subsection 53G-3-301(5) at which voters approve the creation of a new school district under Section 53G-3-302. See Utah Code 53G-3-102
- City: includes , depending on population, a metro township as defined in Section 10-3c-102. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
- County legislative body: means :Utah Code 68-3-12.5
- Creation election date: means the date of the election under Subsection 53G-3-301(9) at which voters approve the creation of a new school district under Section 53G-3-302. See Utah Code 53G-3-102
- existing school district: means a school district from which a new district is created. See Utah Code 53G-3-102
- Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
- Land: includes :Utah Code 68-3-12.5
- Lease: A contract transferring the use of property or occupancy of land, space, structures, or equipment in consideration of a payment (e.g., rent). Source: OCC
